SOUL GUARDIANS 1: He Sends Me Pictures In My Dreams (Sci-Fi)

Chapter One

Fire raced over his skin in the wake of the fingertips trailing over his flesh. Kyle Landers knew this wasn’t real. This was was some kind of hallucinogenic scary-as-fuck dream. There was no way in hell Batty Johnson was now nestled between his thighs, and pinning him to the bed. His body was not reacting to the hot breath which ghosted over his throat moments before those soft lips made contact. What the hell is happening to me? I’m not gay—I’m not.

Damn it. Kyle found his hands seemed to have a mind of their own as they reached up and skimmed down the Batty’s spine. He moaned as the guy’s hard cock made contact with his own. In a weird way their bodies seemed to fit together perfectly. The slight pressure as Batty began to rub off against him, had Kyle’s legs trembling. Without realising what he was doing he slowly lifted them unit they wrapped around Batty’s waist holding the closer together.

How had this gone from a nightmare to a sexual fantasy in such a short amount of time? And why in the hell am I even getting off by being this close to another guy? Especially when the man everyone called Batty as in Bat-shit-crazy—Bartholomew Johnson, was the main character in this scene. The guy couldn’t stand Kyle. They’d been stationed together for two years now and not once had the man said one word to Kyle. In fact it was only through others stationed with them he even knew Batty disliked him so much Kyle wasn’t sure if that was true or not and now wasn’t the time to ask. Even now the guy was as silent as ever as he continually sucked on Kyle’s the flesh of Kyle’s throat. If this was really happening he was going to have one hell of a hickey to try and explain away tomorrow.

A deep sigh fell from his lips as Batty’s dream form quickened the pace. Kyle could quite match Batty’s silent vocals, his own needs pushed so many gasps, grunts and moans out of his body all the while his arms and legs maintained their hold on Batty’s hard body. Part of him took the time to wonder if this was what the man really looked like, or was this little fantasy all an illusion. Either way tonight was probably the most intense foreplay Kyle had ever experienced. None of the women he’d ever been with turned him on as much as he was right now—maybe he just needed to go out and get laid.

He was so close. The tension in his body was ratcheting up in slow increments until he thought for sure he was going to completely burst into flames. The tingle which had started in the base of his spine was now zipping through him out of control. His fingertips dug into Batty’s back when then next thrust of Batty’s powerful hips sent Kyle careening over the edge into one of the strongest orgasms he had ever had. No sooner had he stopped when he felt Batty’s mouth tighten on his throat as more wet heat flowed between them.

Closing his eyes Kyle tried to get himself under control. He whimpered at the loss of Batty’s body pressed against his own. His eyes opened to an empty room and the remnants of a deep throated chuckle. With a shaking hand he touched the cum and sweat still clinging to his skin. Getting out of bed he grabbed his towel before heading to the communal showers. Moving into one of the stalls he drew the curtain before he flicked the lever and waited for the spray of water to heat. The liquid soap dispenser attached to the wall at least was full so that was a good thing. With a small dollop of the liquid in his hands Kyle washed away the reminder of what had happened in his dream. Yet strangely his body still reacted to just the memory of what had taken place, and once again he found his raging hard-on standing upright and kissing his abdomen. Using more soap Kyle slicked up his hand and wrapped it around his aching cock. He brought to mind every pretty girl he had ever had ever seen and stroked himself to those images. As much as he wanted to his body wouldn’t come until the female images slipped away to be replaced by the dark looks of the man who had starred in his earlier dream. The moment those startling sky blue eyes appeared in his mind his body gave into the release it had been holding back.

Leaning his forehead against the cool tile wall of the shower stall. Kyle gasped raggedly as he tried desperately to scrub the whole stupid situation from his mind. Why am I dreaming about a guy who won’t even acknowledge I exist? Taking a few for seconds to reconcile with himself. Kyle reached for more soap to finish his shower it wasn’t until he went to wash away the memory of Batty sucking on his throat that he registered the tenderness.

Kyle switch off the shower and stumbled out of the stall until he came up against the sinks. Leaning closer to the mirror situated above his eyes widened at the vivid purple bruise already forming on his skin.

  What the Fuck!

There was no way possible this was real. Quickly wrapping his towel around his hips Kyle made his way back to his room. And climbed back into his bead and prayed like Christ the fact that he could smell someone else on his sheets besides himself was just some huge arse mistake. Tomorrow he’d wake up and all this would’ve been the nightmare it was supposed to be.

* * * *

Morning came way too soon for Kyle’s taste. He lay in bed just staring up at the drab ceiling over head as he listened to the sounds of the others getting ready to start the day in the Flight Academy. He had given over most of his life studying to get chosen to attend the Isobel Mather Space Academy which was adjoining the Equinox space station on the dark side of the newly found planet Lucky Star 901-90.

His father hadn’t wanted him to even apply, but there was no way Kyle was willing to stay earthbound and miss the chance to become the pilot he’d always dreamed of being. So in the last months of his schooling Kyle had requested, filled in, and submitted the application to travel to Lucky Star. He was as surprised as anyone when he had been accepted.

Before he had even left planet side he had attended a three month training session where they tested him both mentally and physically. By the time the departure date had arrived more than half of the people in training had either quit or been dropped. On his flight to the academy there were fifteen remaining out of the forty-four people who had started training with him.

Kyle had been based in C squad at the academy for the last eleven months, thirteen days, and the seconds kept on ticking. Some more of his training partners had been shipped home due to not holding up under the strain of being in space. Kyle himself relished being here. There wasn’t a day that passed where he wasn’t thankful for getting chosen.

The dynamics of his new home was at first strange to get used to. He was put in a dorm with eleven other men. All dorms at the academy contained twelve recruits. Usually they didn’t associate with the other barracks. Yet occasionally people would be moved and shifted to a new barrack. The spot they vacated was quickly filled by someone new.

All meals were eaten in the same room. Every barrack shifts rotated so that each day their squad ate with a different one. Not only ate with them, but they trained alongside the other barracks they shared the mess hall with. Today, just his luck they were sharing with the N squad in which Batty Johnson was a member of. He wondered momentarily if he stayed in bed would anyone miss him. Hell, someone would come and drag his arse out of bed.

With a groan Kyle stood and pulled on the academy uniform of skin tight black flight gear. Each squad had different coloured stitching which showed where you belonged. If he was ever chosen to leave his squad he’d be moved to the sister academy on the other side of the space station, and be issued with a new uniform. This was all hearsay, the gossip he’d listened to around the academy. So far no one from his squad had been chosen. A few had gone home after washing out, but none had transferred to the other academy.

As he brushed his hair the bruise on his neck was evident against his pale flesh. He knew as soon as his squad saw it the teasing would start, and he didn’t have a clue how he was going to explain it, because there was no way he was going to tell them the truth. In the end they would make up some story which would follow him around for a few weeks until the next scandalous thing came along to drive him from everyone’s minds.

“Whoa, what the hell happened to you?” Lee Ling asked.

Kyle hissed as her fingers grazed the still tender bruise on his throat. “I slipped.” It was as good as answer as any and he hadn’t had time to make anything else up. If anyone asked he was going to stick with he slipped in the shower. That in itself would give them enough fodder for gossip.

“It looks nasty… maybe you should go let a medic take a look at it.”

“If I have enough time after breakfast I’ll drop by the infirmary.” Kyle said as he and Lee joined the line in front of the food servery. As per usual the N squad had beaten them and were already seated and eating he let his gaze wander until it landed on Batty. The man was sitting with his back hunched as he ate his food and ignoring the world around him. Just as he was about to break eye contact. Batty slowly lifted his head and his piercing sky blue eyes lock with Kyle’s before dropping back to focus on his plate. In that moment of acknowledgement Kyle couldn’t read his expression, but whatever it was he just knew it wasn’t going to be good.

“That guy weirds me out.” Lees whispered as she leant in close. “He never seems to talk. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him say anything or even make any sounds at all.”

Somewhere in the deep recesses of Kyle’s mind he knew that given the opportunity he would recognise the man’s chuckle.

Do or Die 1: For What It’s Worth (Sci-Fi)

Chapter One

The hardest thing I ever had to do was admit I had feelings for another guy. And not just any other guy, but the brother of the man who has come to be my best friend. Most people won’t find that alarming until I tell you Jonah isn’t as smart as most people. I don’t mean that in a derogatory way, it’s just at an early age he was diagnosed as mildly retarded. I personally don’t think there is anything wrong with him—it just takes him a little longer to grasp the concept of things. Let me tell you a bit about the man I’m in love with—or more so the story on how I fell in love.

* * *

Galactic year: seventy-one-eighty-three.

Franklin Maitland hated being the new person in town. He wondered how long it would take for him to make friends. He wished his company had picked someone else to move earth side. He’d been quite happy living back on the entry station with the rest of his colleagues, family, and friends—scratch that—Franklin didn’t have friends. The only good thing to come out of it was Rayne Williamson the guy who had sat at the desk opposite him for the last three years was going with him. Stranger still was Rayne had actually volunteered for the job. Why anyone would want to come live among the dregs of life was beyond him.

Yet when their boss pointedly announced he was going, he’d immediately asked why and was told because out of their whole unit he was the toughest son-of-a-bitch to ever grace the known universe. He was, and they all knew it. But still he hated moving to a new place and having to feel out the lay of the land. Straight up there would be too many variables to have to contend with.

The first thing was making his new home safe and cutting off all access to unwanted visitors. The second thing on his list was to work out what Rayne’s agenda was. He got the feeling that his colleague’s reasons for coming here were personal, but if they were going to get them killed or get in the way of what they was here to do than he needed to know and have a back-up plan in case everything went down the shit chute.

Grunting Franklin decided to bluntly ask. “What’s your deal, Rayne? Why did you volunteer for this mission?”

Rayne stared at him in what he thought maybe surprise, he didn’t think he was going to get an answer the final his companion sighed. “I wanted this mission because I’m trying to find someone. My brother.”

Mulling the admission over for a while Franklin had to wonder why Rayne’s supposed brother lived Earth bound when he knew for a fact that the whole Williamson family lived in the inner sanctum of the New Earth. He must have looked doubtful because Rayne continued.

“Jonah, was abandoned by my parents when it was made known he wasn’t perfect and never was going to be. When we were boys Jonah, who’s two years older than me had an accident when he first joined the academy. I’m not sure exactly what happened to him. My parents refused to talk about it. All I know for certain is that Jonah ended up in hospital for six months in a coma and when he finally woke he wasn’t the same. When the doctor said he would probably never get any better my parents shipped him a facility on Earth. I guess they didn’t want the taint of who he now was to reflect on them in anyway.”

“When was this?” It had to be before Franklin had been transferred to Western New Earth.

He had lived in the station which ringed the planet. To the universe it looked like Earth had rings like Venus. It wasn’t until travellers got closer that they realised the rings were in fact man made and now housed most of the world’s inhabitants. Everett Levinson the architect who when the Earth was officially classed as dying from over population had envisioned them was a true genius. Franklin himself had been born on the station. More precise he had been born in the Northern quadrant of New Earth into a middle class family. He fought his way to the top of his peers to be given the chance to attend the Policing Force and make a better life for himself. He never had the brains or the money to afford placement at the academy. The truth be told he never wanted to be a pilot. He never wanted to protect the station on which they lived. His main focus was on keeping the everyday people safe and out of trouble. He didn’t need fame and fortune. He was happy with the life he’d chosen for himself. Yet he had to wonder why Rayne hadn’t applied for the academy. His mind came back to the present when Rayne spoke.

“Seventeen years ago. Jonah was fifteen when he was accepted into the academy and he was gone before he reached his sixteenth year. My parents never wanted anything more to do with him, but he’s still my brother. I love him as much now as I ever have. We remained in contact despite what our parents wanted. Then about three weeks ago all contact stopped. It’s like he’s just disappeared off the face of the Earth.”

Rayne shook his head and the sadness in the man’s eyes touched something inside of Franklin. “Do you think he’s in trouble?”

“That the thing, I just don’t know. He’s never done more than a few days without contacting me before. My gut is telling me he needs my help so when this mission came up…” Rayne shrugged, “I just need to find out what happened to him. Jonah is too sweet to be left on his own.”

“Seventeen years is a long time, and he seems to have done okay.” Franklin thought maybe Rayne was worrying for nothing.

With a frown Rayne sat up and dug a picture out of his pocket and held it out to Franklin. He bit back the gasp which threatened to come out when he gazed upon one of the most beautiful and innocent looking people he’d ever seen. Blond hair surrounded a face, which was dominated by large bottle green eyes. The smile only complimented the man’s looks further. There was only one word for it Jonah Williamson was simply stunning.

Forever & Always (YA)

Chapter One

Noah slowly pulled himself out of the dreaming zone and hit the switch to turn off his alarm… damn he hated mornings.  Especially when he knew that he’d be starting at a new school.  He could already hear his brother, Seth up and about. Seth was his exact opposite.  Seth loved mornings, and he loved school, but then again Seth was a total nerd.  Seth was just a third of the triplets they made up. His sister, Em, was just like Noah.

Noah chuckled when he heard Emily bitching at Seth, and telling him to fuck off before she knee capped him.

“I’m up already,” Noah grumbled when someone knocked on his door.  Noah sat up as the door opened and his mother stuck her head in.

“Come on, you are going to be late if you don’t hurry” she grinned as he threw his pillow at her.  “Is that anyway to treat your mother?”

Noah scowled in mock anger.  “Yes, especially when she’s being a pain in the arse.”

Tanya Hathaway laughed and dodged the second pillow.  “Get up, we’re due at the principal’s office first thing.” When Noah growled she laughed again, “I swear Seth is the only normal one out of you three.”

“Says you; about the boy who is gay.”  Noah’s eyes twinkled.

“Seth may be gay, but at least he’s sure about who he is.”  Tanya arched her eyebrow.

With a frown Noah demanded, “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Think about it.”  Tanya winked before she left his room.

Noah headed towards the bathroom, and thought about what his mother had said.  Was she trying to tell him she was gay?  He’d have to ask Seth, he always knew what was going on.  Emily would be as clueless as Noah himself.

Noah idly stared out the window while his mother talked to principal Clarkson. He’d already filled out his schedule, and was bored with the rest of the crap involved with enrolling.  Noah sat up straight and focused on the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen, she took his breath away, his palms began to sweat, and his heart raced.  Now this girl, whoever she was would make this final year worthwhile.

“Oh my God,” Seth breathed in his ear.  “He’s beautiful.”

Noah’s eyes drifted momentarily to the guy who had his arm draped around the girl’s shoulders.  He was laughing at whatever the girl was saying.  Noah’s breath caught as she reached out and pinched the guy’s nipple, which only seemed to make him laugh harder.

“You know,” Emily said loudly for everyone in the room to hear.  “You should both put you tongue’s back in your mouth and breathe.”

Principal Clarkson looked out the window and shook his head, getting up he opened the window.  “Johnson… Tucker.  What’s the rule about sunlight?”

Noah watched as the couple jumped apart and yelled “Sorry.”

Sunlight rule?  What the hell is that?

Noah sat on a table near the canteen and people watched as he waited for his siblings to arrive.  This was the first year where they’d all been split up.  Noah looked up as Adam James walked towards him.

“So newbie how’s your first day so far?”  Adam said as he sat on the table next to Noah.

“It’s okay. I mean I stand out like a sore thumb, so far it is okay.”

“Whoa,” Adam was mesmerised as Seth and Emily walked towards them.  “Am I see things or are there really three of you.”

Noah sighed deeply pretending to be dismayed.  “Sadly, my friend, it is true.  Adam meet the other parts of me.  This delightful young woman is Em, she’s a real sweetie, don’t let the snarl fool you.” Noah laughed as she snarled harder, and flipped him off.  “And this handsome devil is Seth.”

“I’m the gay one.”  Seth said as he held out his hand.

Adam burst out laughing as he shook Seth’s hand.  “Yet strangely, I like you anyway.”

“Sorry, babe, but you’re not my type.”  Seth said with a completely straight face, which made Adam laugh even harder. Noah just shook his head at his brothers antics.

“Look out, look out, the Adam James party is already in full swing.”  Noah spun around to see who was speaking and saw it was the couple from this morning.

“Yeah, well, it wouldn’t be complete without the double trouble,” Adam grinned.  “Ruby, Jae, I would like you to meet the Hathaway triplets, Emily, Seth, and Noah. Seth is the gay one.”

“Really?”  Ruby grinned and pulled Seth into a tight hug. The guy slid his hands down Seth’s body and squeezed his arse, which made Seth squeal.

Noah glanced towards Jae, and she was staring back at him, Noah smiled.  His eye’s ran down her body and back up again appreciatively. She had the sexiest legs he’d ever seen, but the best part was her face.  Long blonde hair fell to her waist, full lips, and the greenest eyes he’d ever seen.  Noah believed he could very well lose himself in the depths of those eyes.  Again his breath caught as she bit her lower lip.

“Noah, buddy, I hate to break it to you, but Jae’s a guy. So unless you are gay like your brother here I’d stop looking at him like that.”  Ruby said as he let go of Seth.

Noah’s smile faltered, and something akin to shame seemed to wash over Jae’s face.  “I need to go to…” He let the sentence drop and pointed towards the office.

** **

Jae blushed, today was the first time  he’d ever felt self conscious by the way he was.  Tears came to his eyes as he watched Noah walk away.

“Awww, babe,” Ruby held out his arms and Jae walked into them.  “Don’t let some dumbarse wanker get you down.”

“Yeah, especially when that dumbarse wanker is as gay as Seth is.”

Seth nodded, “He just doesn’t know it yet, or if he does he’s in denial.”

“Really?”  Adam asked as he watched Noah walk into the office.

“Really.”  Emily said as she nudged Seth, “Come on, we’ll have to get him some food. He can’t take his meds on an empty stomach.”

Adam asked exactly what Jae wanted to know. “Meds? What’s wrong with him?”

“Noah has a blood disorder and he needs to take medication every day.”  Seth answered as Emily dragged him towards the canteen.

Jae went with them but didn’t get in line.  “Can you get me a chicken wrap and a bottle of water please.”  He held out some money.

“Lazy much?”  Emily said as she took his money.

“It’s not that,” Jae blushed, “Mrs Tucker’s on duty today and she has a problem with me.  It is just easier if I don’t buy anything the days that she’d here.”

Emily seemed puzzled and asked, “What, because you’re gay?”

“No, she doesn’t have a problem with me being gay.”  He looked back towards the table.  “Her son, Ruby’s ,also gay, but his mum has a problem with the way I dress.”  His blush deepened.  “She doesn’t understand it.”

“Does anybody?”  A guy said in the next line.

“And you are?”  Emily said coolly.

A wicked smile spread across his face.  “I am Dominic Shoshanka.  Your neighbour.”

Emily stared at him icily.  “I don’t think that I’m gonna like you very much.”

Jae smiled, “Dom’s harmless, and truthfully he’s my best friend.”

Dom grinned, “My mum always did say,  everyone should have a gay man for a best friend.”

“I thought Ruby was your best friend?”  Seth said.

“Ruby’s not his best friendRuby is his friend.”  Dominic said conspiratorially.

“Ex- friend… now we are just friends.”  Jae whispered softly.

“Hey Jae,” they turned as a girl about their age called out.  “Party at Britt’s house this weekend. Bring your friends.”  She said as she eyed Seth and Emily.

“Now she’s a hottie.”  Emily said with a grin.

“Are you gay too?”  Jae asked.

Emily shook her head. “No, but I know beautiful when I see it.”

“That’s Becca Williams, heart-breaker extraordinaire.”  Dom said with a sigh.  “Sadly, she is gay.”

“Still hot though.”  Emily said fanning herself as they stepped up to the counter and ordered their food.

By the time they got back to the table Noah was back, and sat with his head resting on his folded arms.

“Noah, honey, you need to eat something. it’ll make you feel better.”  Emily ran her fingers through  her brother’s hair.  “Come on, Noah.”  She gently shook his shoulder.

“Dude, I think you should have your meds checked. You look rank.”  Adam said when Noah finally sat up.

Noah glared at Adam, before reaching for the food his sister held.  “Thanks.”

“We’ve been invited to a party.”  Emily said changing the subject.

“Well, Jae got invited and was told to bring us along.”  Seth amended.

“Then I hope you have fun.”  Noah said.

“You have to come. You know Mum won’t let us go unless it’s all three of us.” Emily whined.

“I don’t feel like partying.”  Noah said as he took a small bite of his wrap.  He put the food on the table and laid his head back down.  “I don’t feel so good.”

“You need to eat Noah,” Seth said gently as he rubbed his brothers back.  “Either you eat, or I let Emily force feed you again.”

Noah groaned as Seth tilted his head, and Emily held the food in front of his mouth. Noah glared at them both as he took another bite.  By the time he was half done he was feeling much better.

“Does the medicine always affect you like that?”  Jae asked softly, from where he sat opposite Noah.

  Noah nodded, “Pretty much.”

“That must feel awful.”  Jae said, he dropped his eyes and stared at his hands.  He realised he couldn’t look at Noah for more than a few minutes, without the feeling of self consciousness filling him again.  He guessed the reason Noah wasn’t was avoiding eye contact with him was because the way Jae was disgusted the guy. That was usually the reason.

“Why don’t you try it for a week, and see how it really feels.”  Noah snapped.

Standing up, Jae handed the uneaten portion of his lunch to Dom.

“Where are you going?”  Adam asked.

“I… I have to go see Mr Stevens.”  Jae rushed off without saying anything more.

“Way to go, idiot.”  Emily said and slapped Noah on the back of the head.

Noah glared at her.  “Me, what the hell did I do?”

“Oh I don’t know,” Seth drawled.  “Could it be, you realised  you got caught checking out a guy, and then took it out on the guy.  It’s not his fault that you’re a …IST.”

Adam looked at him confused.  “What’s an …IST?”

Emily rolled her eyes.  “An …IST is anyone who is, let’s say, racist, sexist, homophobic, etc, etc.”

“I’m not an …IST.”  Noah spat at his siblings.  “Not my fault the guy likes to wear dresses, it’s not normal.”

“It’s normal for Jae.”  Adam said frostily.  “If you have a problem with Jae, then I don’t think we can be friends.  You do realise that I’m as gay as he is?”

“I’m not homophobic, for crying out loud my brother is gay.  How can I be a phobe?”  Noah pushed away from the table.

“Now where are you going?”  Emily asked.

“To apologise apparently, seeing as  I have obviously upset the guy.”  Noah walked off in the direction that Jae had taken.  He had rounded the corner of the first building when he saw Jae leaning against the wall quietly crying.

“What do you want?”  Jae said as Noah came and stood in front of him.

“Look, I’m sorry I snapped at you.”  Noah shifted from foot to foot.  He felt uncomfortable. Actually it felt like everyone was staring at them, and he didn’t like that idea.

Without looking at him Jae whispered., Apology accepted, now please go and leave me alone.”

“I really am sorry.  I’m not just saying that you know.”  Noah reached towards Jae but never quite made contact.

“Okay, I get it. You’re not purposely trying to hurt me.”  Jae stared at the ground.  “I’ve accepted your damn apology, so will you please go away and leave me alone.”

Noah tilted Jae’s face until Jae was forced to look at him.  “Your make up is running.”

Jae snorted, “Great, now not only am I a freak, but I’m a hideous freak.”

Noah frowned, “I never called you a freak.”

“No you didn’t, but like everyone else, you thought it, which is just as bad.”  Jae said angrily.

“I thought you were a girl.”  Noah defended.  “I’m sorry if I was a little startled to find out I had been checking out a guy.  How do you think that makes me feel?”

“I’m sorry.”  Tears started to fall from Jae’s eyes again, and Noah felt bad  he was making Jae cry.

“It’s not your fault.”  Noah reached out and wiped away the tears.  “Umm, I think I may have just made your make up worse.”  Noah rubbed his thumb on his black trousers.  “Sorry.”

Jae couldn’t help the burst of laughter that tore from him.  He shook his head as he headed across the quad to the nearest toilets.  What  surprised  Noah was he had followed him.  Jae pulled out his packet of wipes and began removing his makeup.

Noah watched fascinated as each layer of makeup was removed and the real Jae emerged from beneath.  His stomach twisted in knots when he realised  Jae was even more beautiful without the makeup.  He blushed when Jae caught him staring.

  “Hideous, I know.”  Jae sighed.

Noah shook his head and answered honestly before he even thought about it.  “If you want the truth. I think you’re prettier without it.”   Noah paled when he realised what he’d said, and his eyes grew huge with shock.  “I didn’t mean…”

Jae  smiled at the compliment, and it kept him in a good mood for the rest of the afternoon.  He was still smiling when he met up with Dom after the school day had ended.

“What put a smile on your face?”  Dom asked as he pulled his keys out of his pocket.

Jae shrugged.  “Just happy I guess.”

Dom stared at him for a long moment.  “Okay, who is he?  I know this look, it means you’re sweet on someone.”  When Jae looked away guiltily, Dom groaned.  “Please tell me it’s not Noah.”  He groaned louder as Jae blushed deeply.  “Jesus, Jae, what the hell are you thinking?  The guy’s a total dick.”

Finally Jae turned and looked at his best friend.  “He’s a nice guy really. He appolagised to me, and we talked.”

“He made you cry.  How nice can he be?  Couldn’t you have least fallen for the one who  knows he’s gay?”

“I never said I was in love with him,Dom.”  Jae frowned, “I just like him is all.”

“Well please don’t do anything stupid that will get your heart broken.”  Dom said as he pulled the car out of the parking lot.

Jae stared out the window, but nodded, letting Dom know  he’d heard him.

“You still coming to my house tonight?”  Dom asked.

“Sure, if it is ok with Dimitri.”

“Dad loves you, you know that.”

Jae grinned.  “I love your dad too.  I wish my dad was like him.”

“He still on your case I gather?”

Jae nodded, “Harry has given me a week to get rid of everything, or I no longer have a home.  Mr Stevens is looking at some sort of housing for me.”  Jae said as they pulled up in the driveway of Dom’s house.

Curiosity & A Katt (Paranormal)

Chapter One

Heat raced through Derek Lewis’s body, burning him to his very core as the generous lips wrapped around his hard cock sucking him down, not stopping until his nose was planted firmly in Derek’s pubes. Derek looked through hooded eyes to the man on his knees before him. Katterick Jones was one of the most beautiful men he had ever laid eyes upon. Each night most patrons of Curiosity the night club Katt owned were vying for the right to share the gorgeous man’s bed. Tonight it was all Derek’s time, but honestly he didn’t even remember how he came to be here in the room with Katterick on his knees. One minute he was home in bed thinking about all the jobs still on his list to do at work tomorrow, and in the next he was naked with his cock stuck down another guy’s throat.

“Katt, baby,” the endearment fell from his lips as he thrust into Katterick’s welcoming mouth. “I need…” he needed something. He just didn’t know what exactly he needed until he felt the press of lubed fingers against his aching hole. Where the hell had Katterick gotten the lube from?

A groan tore from deep inside him as two of Katterick’s fingers slid slowly and fully into his waiting passage. “So full.” He was almost overwhelmed by how full he felt, his legs had already begun to tremble threatening to let him fall. He couldn’t get his brain to work as a third, and then a fourth finger was pressed into him opening him up. His whole body throbbed knowing what was to come. “Katt…please.”

A protest was on the tip of his tongue as Katterick suddenly let go of his erection and stood up until the fronts of their bodies were flush against each other. Bringing up a hand he wrapped it firmly around the back of Katterick’s neck and drew the man closer to him. Leaning in, Derek devoured the man’s lips in a kiss. Fuck, he loved those lips. Actually everything about the man was perfection. There wasn’t a single thing he could complain about. he could quite happily spend the rest of his life swapping spit and tongue fucking the man in his arms. Hopefully followed by fucking his tight arse or getting fucked in return – either way he was going to be happy

As they parted Katterick grabbed his hips and spun him around, pinning him to the wall they had been leaning against. All Derek could do was push back against the hard shaft pressing against his hole. “Wait, you forgot the…” was all he got out before Katterick thrust in to the hilt not stopping until he was balls deep. “Condom.” Derek ended on a moan; at this stage in the game he was beyond caring about anything except the rock hard cock pounding mercilessly into his arse.

Still he had to wonder why in all the time he had been here Katterick hadn’t uttered a single word. Was this just a one off fuck? Well, yes, it probably was. The Katterick jones who owned a nightclub had a different man every night sometimes two or three of them. A noise somewhere off to his right tickled at the back of his mind – what the hell was that noise? It sounded like…”

Derek threw his hand across his eyes as he realised it had all been a dream. He didn’t need to move his hand to know that he had flooded his briefs with cum. The coolness against his skin was a dead giveaway. Reaching out he slapped at his alarm clock to shut off the infernal noise before it made his ears bleed.

Why he woke up yet again from another dream featuring the high and mighty Katterick-bloody-Jones he didn’t know? Especially as in each of them Katterick was perceived as such a hot and highly sexual stud. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Katterick – not Katt – was one of the most unattainable and boring men who worked in the offices of Kendal, Laurence, and O’Donnell – Attorneys at Law, and just happened to be the man he had focus all his lust on. He really had to stop reading the erotic novels by Katt Roberts, and he really had to stop replacing Jackson Kasey and Lucas Drake with Katterick and himself. It would be a hell of a lot easier if their descriptions didn’t resemble Katterick and him so damn much. It was like the author knew them both and was just fucking with his mind.

Today he was dreading going into the office. There were actually eleven lawyers in the building where they worked. Derek was a personal assistant to Liam O’Donnell. Who by the grace of Satan himself just happened to share office space with Nathan Kendal whose personal assistant was, yes you guessed it, ding-ding-ding. The one and only Katterick-I am way too good to associate with you-Jones.

As he climbed out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take care of business and shower, he had to mentally psyche himself up to sit across the room they shared for a whole day. For the next nine hours he would have to sit there and do his own work while being completely ignored by the man who more often than not featured as the starring role in his dreams.

Katt groaned as the office door opened and Derek sauntered in. He wasn’t sure exactly why he was always so abrupt with them man who had never been anything but nice to him. Okay, so maybe that wasn’t quite true. He couldn’t seem to bring himself to have a serious conversation with the man he had based his character Lucas Drake on. Derek would more than likely king hit him straight in the mouth if he knew about it. Thankfully, none of his colleagues or bosses knew what he did for a living. In all honesty he doubted they even knew he was gay. He wasn’t brave enough to be out at work – not like Derek was. Not that Derek flaunted his lifestyle around, but if asked, and he had been, Derek always answered yes. Hence the reason why Lucas Drake was an exact copy of Derek Lewis even right down to the size of his nine inch cock. Not that he had taken peeks or anything stalkerish like that. Could he help it if Derek seemed to always be in the bathroom the same exact moments he needed to go?

“Morning,” he said softly as Derek headed past his desk. A slight nod of Derek’s head let Katt know Derek had even acknowledged his words. Today was going to be another day filled with silence between them – Oh what fun.

With a shake of his head, Katt went back to sorting out what he needed to prioritise for his boss today. One of these days he was going to know the perfect thing to say which would actually get Derek to have a normal conversation with him. He had watched Derek socialise at office functions with the other PA’s yet he always seemed to ignore Katt. Who was he kidding all the other PA’s ignored him, he had heard the whispers of him being stuck up and unapproachable, and if he was totally honest with himself, so far he had done nothing to discourage their way of thinking. In his mind if they got too close they might just find out his secret.

In most cases two lawyers shared office space in Kendal, Laurence, and O’Donnell. Each office suite comprised of three rooms each lawyer had a private client meeting rooms and the office each P.A. shared. Their desks mirrored each other’s as the as sat side by side, except Derek’s had a framed picture of him standing with another young man. The man was standing slightly behind Derek with his arms loosely wrapped around Derek’s shoulders as they smiled into the camera. Funnily it was a very beautiful picture yet every time he looked at it jealousy curled around his heart. He wanted to be the other man in the picture. He wanted to be the one to wrap Derek up in his arms. At least he had Lucas Drake to live out all his fantasies through, even if Lucas was just a figment of Katt’s imagination.

Katt looked at his watch as the door opened again. It was a little too early for clients to be arriving, and he smiled as Liam, and Nathan walked into the office. They had their heads together as they talked about something, and it wasn’t hard to imagine these two men having been friends since early childhood, instead of the two years they had actually known each other, they became friends about the same time Nathan and his fiancée broke up. Funny how such things can bring two people closer together. Their friendship existed in the same two years-three months-twelve days and counting span he had spent sharing his space with one Derek Lewis, and wanting what he could never have.

“Good morning, Mr Kendal, Mr O’Donnell… Would you like me to get you a coffee?” Katt said as they realised they weren’t alone.

“No, I’m fine we stopped for coffee on the way in. Actually could you and Derek come into the office for a moment, there is something we would like to discuss with you both?”

Katt nodded as he followed both men into Nathan’s office. He couldn’t think if he had done anything which may have upset his boss, unless they had found out what he did when he wasn’t at work. Not all bosses, especially lawyers, would appreciate their PA night lighting as an erotic male-male romance writer. He had tried very hard to keep his private and work life separated.

Moving across the office he sat on one of the two vacant chairs available. He straightened his tie, and crossed his legs as he waited for what was to come. Derek walked in and took the seat beside him, they both waited expectantly for either of their bosses to speak. A gasp from Derek had his attention focused solely on the two men on the other side of the desk. Nathan was sitting and Liam was standing beside him, nothing unusual until he realised Liam’s fingers were playing with the hair at the nape of Nathan’s neck.

  “Oh My God.”

To start off with… Today My blog does not want me to post any pictures that sit alongside the text. Hell, it won’t even let me move it to the centre of the page… but let’s not let that distract us.

I know I’ve been putting off writing the next instalment in my series, The Diamond Rose I have come up with a somewhat awkward situation. Where I realise my world has almost the exact same name of somebody else’s world… the thing is I love this other author and it never even occurred to me until I was recently re reading her books that I noticed the glaring similarity with the name…Okay, I should mention before someone points it out that the author is Alexis Morgan and her world is called Kalithia whereas mine is Kalethia… I want to sincerely apologise to everyone for my stupidity, and for not researching the name more thoroughly… It won’t happen again.

Now onto more of my dilemma…  We’ve already been to Kalethia in book one… would it seem weird if The Diamond Rose (the property set in Australia) finds out it’s connected to more than one world… I figure that way I can move away from the name similarity—and it can also bring in new characters for everyone to get to know.

I really would be interested in your opinions, so that I can get back to writing this series. That whole name thing has thrown me for a loop, because I don’t want people thinking I stole the story. I just didn’t research enough. And because I gave myself a guilt trip I had a metal aversion to continuing with the series, but in 2017 I need to be able to move forward.

Please stop by and let me know your thoughts…
