Promotion of any kind is great. There are so many places where you can go to show off your wares… in my case, it’s my writing. I have a tendency to be very bad at self-promotion. I never really know where to go where to promote myself. I really don’t have the funds to pay someone to promote me or my books either so it’s a lose-lose situation.
Though, in 2020 I’ve decided to be more on the ball with what’s going on around me. I joined a newsletter that sends out tips about how to go about doing all of this sort of crap. I really need this to be the year I learn what it means to be a self-sufficient writer, instead of a go with the flow kind of writer.
I wish I could just get in with a group of self minded bloggers where we just swapped books and promoted them for each other, no matter what the genre when they came out for release. Hence, the reason I always offer my blog for use, because I know how hard it can be to get your work out there without paying someone to do it for you.
